Katie is no longer accepting new clients. She is supervisor to clinician Hope Mulligan.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Santa Clara University. After completing my undergraduate program, I embarked on a two-year National Fellowship through Americorp where I had the opportunity to work with at-risk youth in an after-school setting. I then attended a graduate program at San Jose State University where I obtained my Master’s Degree in Social Work.
I have been a licensed clinician since 2019 and have over 15 years of experience working with children, teens, families and individuals in a variety of public, private and non-profit settings. I have 3 years of clinical experience providing in-home therapeutic services, behavioral intervention, and parent coaching to stabilize families and prevent the need for children to be placed in out of home care.
My specialties include working with adoptive families, families formed through kinship care and legal guardianship, trauma informed care, and early intervention.
I use a trust based, attachment focused and trauma informed approach in helping my clients process significant life events and connect with others in healthy, meaningful ways. I utilize treatment approaches that incorporate various evidenced informed and evidenced based practices depending on the individualized needs of the client(s) I am working with.
