Kayla Morgan, LMFT

In my personal and professional life, I deeply value safety, acceptance and patience– but also believe in doing deeper and meaningful (and at times, difficult) work that leads to lasting change and growth.

Since obtaining my MA in Counseling Psychology from Palo Alto University in 2016, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from many different walks of life—diverse ethnic and spiritual backgrounds, blended families, LGBTQ+ individuals, and across a wide range of socioeconomic experiences.

I specialize in adoption-related work, anxiety (including OCD, specific phobias, and exposure and response prevention), attachment, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

At ARFC, I have had the opportunity over the last 4 years to work with school aged children, teens, adults, couples and families. I’ve completed an EFT externship and draw on attachment-focused approaches to support deeper, relational healing.  I also utilize expressive arts, sand tray and play therapy techniques to help clients of all ages, express what words sometimes can’t.

My biggest hope for my clients is that through curiosity, patience and acceptance– you find a new awareness of what you have to offer yourself, your relationships and the world.

There’s no need to fear what’s inside of you. It might seem dark and terrifying when you look at what you’re hiding inside of you, but there is not a single part of you that won’t benefit from being loved, accepted, and respected.” -Naomi Goodlet
