I am deeply passionate about supporting children and parents through a person-centered, relationship-based approach that honors each child’s unique voice and developmental needs. I believe play therapy is a powerful form of communication and healing, and I strive to create safe, nurturing spaces where children can express themselves, build emotional awareness, and strengthen connections with their caregivers. My goal is to support children’s emotional growth while empowering parents to feel confident, attuned, and connected in their relationships with their children.
My interest in working with children began at a young age, driven by a natural connection with infants and children and a lifelong goal of supporting families. These experiences, combined with my professional training, fuel my desire to help children feel seen, heard, and valued. This passion continues to guide my work as I strive to support emotional well-being, foster resilience, and help children grow into empowered, emotionally secure adults.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of South Florida and a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina. I moved to Sacramento in 2025 and am excited to start my journey at American River Family Counseling.
